We’ll be closed on Friday 3rd April 2026 and Monday 6th April 2026 for the Easter Bank Holidays.

If you’re not feeling well and need to speak to a medical professional, contact NHS 111 by calling 111 from your telephone or visiting 111.nhs.uk. In an emergency always call 999.

Meningitis B

You may have seen reports of an outbreak of Meningitis among university students in Kent. It is reported that this is an outbreak of Meningitis B.

We have not received instruction from NHS England to offer Meningitis B outside of the normal vaccination programme at this time. We will be contacting eligible patients who are missing other Meningitis vaccinations (ACWY) to invite them in for vaccination.

Weight loss injections

Many of us are looking for ways to lead happier, healthier lives. Supporting you with that goal is really important to us, that’s why we want to keep you informed about the latest updates around weight loss support and treatments.

Although there has been some recent news coverage on weight loss injections (like Tirzepatide/Mounjaro), these injections are not currently available on NHS prescription anywhere in Greater Manchester. This applies to all GP practices and NHS services across the region.

We are expecting more information over the coming weeks on weight loss injections, and as soon as we receive any updates, we’ll contact patients who may be eligible. There’s no need to get in touch with us again— we’ll make sure if you can have it, you’re kept in the loop.

We appreciate this news may be frustrating or disappointing, especially if you’ve been looking for medical support with weight loss. Please know that we are here to help in any way we can. While these medicines aren’t currently available through the NHS, there are still plenty of other options that may be helpful, including local services and lifestyle support. Take a look at services like:
